Who/What the heck is Amber & Wool?

So exactly who/what is Amber & Wool?

Basically it's the creative collection of musical and art projects involved with Kim Kinakin (sparkmarker, san angelus, skinjobs, etc) and/or his friends musical/art projects.

What does the name refer to?

in 600 BC a mathematician named Thales discovered electricity (static electricity) by rubbing amber with wool. 

in 1600 English scientist, William Gilbertfirst coined the term “electricity” from the Greek word for amber.
